I stumbled across Caitlin Johns on Instagram while stalking some brands we stock at Belle Armoire. I was drawn to this brunette beauty, with her niche taste in fashion, beauty and lifestyle, plus her love for food, travel and everything in between. Situated in Adelaide, Caity portrays a connection, on her blog, of her home and automatically makes me want to visit South Australia.
I had the pleasure of getting to know Caity and finding out how she came to be a Fashion Blogger.

Are you originally from Adelaide?
Yes, Adelaide born and bred!
What do you love about the city of Adelaide?
I love that you can pretty much get anywhere in 20 minutes, whether it is the beach or one of our amazing wine regions! Our nightlife has really picked up in the last 5 years as well, so we have all of these cute little wine bars popping up which is awesome, we do love our wine here. And, of course, we have some really talented local designers.
How did you end up becoming a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blogger?
I actually started my blog back in 2011 because I had so many fashion images saved on my laptop and I wanted somewhere that I could put them and share with people that have the same passions that I do – which I guess is what Instagram and Pinterest are for now.
Who inspires you?
I find that Australia has some seriously talented creatives and they inspire me daily – people like Amanda Shadforth from Oracle Fox who do everything from art to photography and styling are just amazing and a constant source of inspiration to me.
What pieces do you invest in and why?
I invest in those “classic” pieces, like a black blazer and winter coats – those items you need to last the test of time.
I noticed that you love visiting cafes! How do you like to have your coffee?
Ha! I really do love cafes, there’s something about someone else making your coffee that I just love, it somehow tastes better – I’m a flat white kind of girl, but I’ll have a cappuccino if I’m feeling naughty!
Describe your style in 3 words.
Uncomplicated, polished, relaxed
Is there any Australian designers that you absolutely love?
Christopher Esber, Camilla & Marc and Maticevski – two are ones I wear a lot of and the other is something I can’t afford but cannot help but be in love with.
Is there a secret to wearing an outfit from day into the evening?
In my opinion its about the fabrics, if something is good quality it transitions really well – as well as throwing on some heels and a bold lip.
Would you ever visit us in the Central West?
YES! I seriously love visiting new places in Australia – I think we all get stuck with online shopping but when you go to somewhere new you find these little hidden gems which blow you away.. and its also a good excuse to visit new cafes 😉
